More than a favorite color…
Many of us use color to symbolize awareness, a movement, a cause, to mourn a loved one, to show support. Personally, Orange symbolizes the challenges I faced during my coming out stage of life.
I started my love affair with the color in Pre-K, when I picked up an orange crayon and decided it was the only color worthy of my attention and my coloring book. Cute, huh? My penchant for orange is a healthy obsession. I love the fruit, I prefer orange juice to start my day and my bedroom is the epitome of Orange with class.
Everything is done with taste in mind. I don’t overdo the color and my wardrobe is represented by many other colors of the spectrum.
To pay tribute to a color that has much significance, I decided to name this blog “Paint The Blog Orange.” It’s a reference to painting the town red. So with that said, happy reading!
