Latter Days

I saw this movie last Friday (thanks to Logo) together with another gay romantic movie called Get Real and Wow! The two main characters were cute, the story was one I can relate with (although a bit predictable), the two main actors played gay characters convincingly (they are both straight). Every thing about the movie was nice but that maybe because it was the true first gay movie I had the pleasure of watching after months of waiting for an opportunity to watch it with no one home.

One character was a Mormon (Aaron, left) silently questioning his sexuality while living next door to a promiscuous homosexual waiter (Christian, right). I won’t spoil too much of the movie, or in many cases reiterate it to those of you who have seen it. I’ll tell you one thing, I was captivated after watching the gay flick. I am not sure if it was the movie in general, the storyline, the character development, the “perfect” love story, or the two guys that played the main roles… Especially the Mormon.

Overall… I feel this movie deserves an 8 out of 10.
